Templemont Project
Opening in Fall 2022
The Templemont project is a new initiative under construction on Temple Drive and Templemont Drive in NE Calgary.
This development is based on a collaboration between Trinity Place Foundation of Alberta, Alberta Health Services (AHS), the City of Calgary, the Province of Alberta, and the RESOLVE capital campaign donors.
Templemont Project are two buildings joined by one foundation.
Templemont Place (9 Templemont Circle NE) is a 50-unit seniors below market housing project. There are one and two-bedroom suites available. Rents are 20% less than market rent as determined by CMHC.
Templemont Gardens (244 Templemont DR NE) is a 70 unit designated specialized living facility that has been designed to meet AHS requirements for the continuing Care Program. By referral only.
There is a 57-stall underground parkade and shared mechanical room that will provide energy to both buildings. The building is a very high standard of energy efficiency. It will have 125 solar panels on the roof of Templemont Place to reduce the overall energy consumption of the buildings by over 28% and reduce the GHG emissions by 41%.

Trinity Place Foundation is pleased that this project is proceeding despite the complications caused by the pandemic. We are contributing to the local economy during construction with 100’s of jobs and approximately 75 new jobs when the facility opens. We expect opening in Fall 2022, barring any unforeseen delays in the construction process.
