A harm reduction approach aims to support people who are managing addiction – along with their families and community - with compassion and dignity while providing the care and support they need without judgement.

Harm reduction is founded on kindness, compassion and caring. The non-judgmental strategies and approaches seek to protect an individual’s health, while reinforcing the positive changes needed to live safer healthier lives.

Templemont Gardens
Templemont Gardens is a collaboration between Trinity Place Foundation of Alberta, Alberta Health Services (AHS), and the Government of Alberta. Using a recovery model and harm reduction approach, the multidisciplinary team at Templemont Gardens will assist 70 individuals aged 18 years and older, by providing specialized Addiction and Mental Health in a safe, open, and affirming environment.

Peter Coyle Place
Peter Coyle Place is a Specialized Supportive Housing for Mental Health & Addictions 68-suite facility that accommodates men and women 55 years of age or older who are unable to access traditional seniors’ housing. An innovative partnership with the Alex Health Care Centre enables us to provide medical services and support.
